MPUMALANGA, (CAJ News) - MORE than 12 000 families in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga have started accessing homes at Klarinet Ridge, courtesy of Absa Property Development (Absa DevCo).
Klarinet Ridge is a new R1.6 billion residential housing development that offers low cost and affordable homes and a better quality of life.
Officials said the project highlighted the bank’s commitment to playing its role in ending housing problems in the country.
“Klarinet Ridge is a joint development agreement involving both ourselves and all three tiers of government.
"It is modelled on our successful pilot development at Olievenhoutbosch in Pretoria West. This project will allow Absa to assist government in significantly reducing the housing backlog in Emalahleni,” says Arrie Rautenbach, Absa Head of Retail Markets.
