Chiefs smells Absa championship title

JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) - MAMELODI Sundowns edged Orlando Pirates 1-0 to dent their hopes of returning their premiership title.
A solitary strike by Alje Schut in the dying minutes of the game left Pirates with the slimmest chances of dislodging arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs from the top of the league log with seven points gap.
Chiefs, who are aiming both the Absa premiership and the Nedbank Cup are the favourites to win the 2012/2013 premiership title with two games before the curtains come down.
Third placed Platinum Stars have also an outside chance of winning the title since they also trail Kaizer Chief with seven points.
